Suspects in Canadian's murder, Costa Rica cops say - CTV News: "Police in Costa Rica say they have some suspects in mind and hope to make an arrest in the murder of 53-year-old Canadian Kimberley Blackwell.

Fifty-three year old Kimberley Blackwell's case is being treated as a homicide in the Central American country and Canadian consular officials are helping local authorities.

Lauren Cleaver, who's acting as a liaison between Blackwell's family and local authorities, says her friend was found beaten and shot outside her home.

Cleaver says Blackwell lived on her own and often had confrontations with poachers who crossed through her property to hunt illegally in the park.

A memorial ceremony will be held for Blackwell in Costa Rica today.

A coroner's report is expected on Monday."
