Furious film - goers complained that the Peter Mullan flick is being ruined by gangs causing mayhem.
Cinema bosses in Glasgow have brought in teams of burly guards to deal with the trouble.
Fed-up film lovers last night told how hordes of thugs are flocking to cinemas to watch the gritty movie. They revealed how screenings have been halted as neds:
Sprayed super-strength lager and wine on each other.
Threw popcorn around.
Spoke on mobile phones.
Taunted rival gang members with foul-mouthed rants.
Staff at Glasgow's flagship cinema, Cineworld, in Renfield Street, said they were 'sick to the back teeth' of the film and were desperate for its run to end.
One worker said: 'It's been a nightmare - it seems all the neds in Scotland want to see the film."
